  1. STEP01

    Vehicle Selection

    Select your preferred vehicle type based on the desired date and time.
    Please check the availability for your preferred date and time.

  2. STEP02

    Temporary Reservation / Payment

    Choose your desired vehicle, campsite, or sauna, and fill out the necessary information in the reservation form.
    The reservation will be confirmed upon payment verification (credit card transaction confirmation).
    Once the reservation is completed, a confirmation email will be sent to the provided email address.

  3. STEP03

    Pickup / Departure

    On the reserved date, please visit the designated location.
    Upon pickup, we will conduct license verification and explain the vehicle’s features before departure.

  4. STEP04

    Vehicle Return

    Please return the rented vehicle to the designated location by the scheduled return time.
    Please ensure to fill it up with fuel before returning.
    At the time of return, we will check for any exterior damage, fuel level, and any forgotten belongings.

01Rental and Return Information

As a general rule, rentals and returns will take place at Asahikawa BASE or Sapporo BASE. We also offer vehicle delivery and pick-up services to nearby stations, airports, and hotels for an additional fee. Please note that during peak seasons or depending on other customers' reservations, we may not be able to accommodate your preferred date or location. Thank you for your understanding.

03 Vehicle Delivery and Pickup Locations and Methods

Each BASE offers vehicle delivery to your desired location and arranged transportation services. If you require these services, please feel free to let us know. For details on delivery, pickup, and drop-off fees, please refer to the " Delivery, Pickup, and One-Way Rental Fees" section.

Sapporo Station (Taxi arrangement)
Please take a taxi arranged by our company from the North Exit taxi stand to Sapporo BASE.
Here are the pick-up and drop-off locations.
It takes approximately 25 minutes by car from Sapporo Station to Sapporo BASE.
New Chitose Airport (Delivery)
Please board the shuttle bus at our contracted parking lot and proceed to the vehicle delivery location.
Here is our affiliated parking lot.
It takes approximately 10 minutes by car from New Chitose Airport to the affiliated parking lot.

Please take a taxi arranged by our company from the front lobby to Sapporo BASE.

  • ※The transfer service is a direct route to one destination. Stops along the way are not allowed, so please be aware in advance.
  • ※We are not responsible for damages caused by traffic congestion, bad weather, or natural disasters.
  • ※For airport departures, we will arrange the service according to the flight's arrival time. If the scheduled flight is significantly delayed, the service may be automatically canceled. If the flight arrives earlier than expected, you may need to wait at the airport.

  • ●When settlement is made without permission When used for various tests and competitions, or when used for towing or backing other vehicles

Cases that correspond to the disclaimer of the insurance policy of casualty insurance concluded by our company

  • ●Damage caused by the improper installation of tire chains, carriers, and child car seats
  • ●Vehicle damage caused by driving off roads, such as on the beaches, riverbeds or forests (accidents caused off the maintained and managed roads)
Others
  • ●Aforementioned damage in which the insurance and the compensation system are not applicable, or the damage with costs beyond the limit of the compensation will become the actual expenses of the customer.
  • ●It is necessary to notify the police in order to receive the application of the compensation system for damage caused by an unknown party's hit and run or car raging.
02 About the installation check of optional equipment

We accept no responsibility for any accidents caused by the installation failure of the optional equipment, so we ask you to make the final check by yourself.

03 About the instructions of car GPS navigation system

Car navigation system is a device to assist the route guidance to the destination, so please drive according to the actual traffic regulations and signs. We accept no responsibility for the financial damage, damage caused by the difference in predetermined and actual travel time caused by the guidance of the car navigation system.

04 About the return time

Please return within our business hours. If you wish to change the scheduled return time, or cannot make it on time, please contact us beforehand. Please note that insurance will not be applied if the contract is extended without permission.

05 About the fuel

There are vehicles that use regular gasoline and diesel fuel. Any engine damage, cleaning, repair costs, or compensation for downtime due to incorrect fuel use will be fully borne by the customer. The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel at departure, so please return it with a full tank as well. A fuel receipt will be checked upon return.

How to Rent

Is it possible to rent without a reservation?

A

Rentals are possible if there is availability for the vehicle, campsite, or sauna on the day, so please contact us. As a general rule, we ask that you make a reservation at least one week in advance, considering preparation time for rentals. Please check this page for reservations, quotes, and availability.

Can I use a credit card for the payment?

A

Yes. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB can be used.

What is required on the day of RV rental?

A

A driver's license for all drivers is required at the time of rental. For international customers, a passport and an international driving permit are necessary.

Can I drive with a regular driver's license? Are there any age restrictions?

A

We have vehicles available for ZiL520-1 to 3, ZiL-REIWA, Cordobanks-3 to 4, and the hiace series that can be driven with a classB driver's license. (Total vehicle weight less than 3.5t, passenger capacity less than 10 people) Since these are automatic transmission vehicles, they can be driven with an automatic transmission-only regular(classB) driver's license.
There are no particular age restrictions. However, young people and those who have just obtained their driver's license may be required to take out insurance when renting as a condition.

Can I rent with an international license?

A

Please bring an international driver’s license that allow driving in Japan (an international license issued in your own country with a style based on the Geneva Convention or your own license and a Japanese translation) and a passport.

Is there a daily mileage limit?

A

There is no limit to mileage.

Is there an additional charge for the second driver? Or are there two drivers?

A

A There is no additional charge depending on the number of drivers.
If you are coming by car, please bring an international driver's license valid in Japan when you pick up.

Can I park my own car while renting?

A

You can park one car by replacing it with a camper.
However, we take no responsibility for any accidents or thefts during the storage, so please carry all your valuables with you.

Can I send my luggage and other belongings in advance?

A

Please send your items to your reserved base location (Sapporo BASE or Asahikawa BASE) at least three days before departure.
Kindly notify us in advance via email or phone regarding the shipment of your items.

Will you dispose of the trash I bring back?

A

We will accept separated trash for 550 yen (tax included) per bag (separating glass bottles, cans, PET bottles, and burnable trash). For non-separated trash, a sorting disposal fee of 1,100 yen (tax included) per bag will be charged.

Do I have to return with full tank?

A

There are vehicles that use regular gasoline and diesel fuel. Please return each vehicle with a full tank of fuel.
If refueling is not possible, a fee of 10,000 JPY per quarter of the fuel meter, as our company policy, will be charged.

Can I visit and see the car?

A

Yes, if the car is not out on rental. we are often out dispatching cars or dealing with customers, so please be sure to notify us when you would like to visit in advance.

What about the bedding?

A

In summer, a light cotton blanket (blanket in winter), bed sheets and pillow (880 JPY / person) are included.

Are towels included?

A

Towels are not included. Most customers make purchases while traveling.
Optional towels are also available.

Do you have a GPS car navigation system?

A

All cars have GPS car navigation system installed.

Is ETC installed?

A

All vehicles are equipped with ETC devices. Please bring your own ETC card.
We also offer the Hokkaido Expressway Pass exclusively for foreign tourists visiting Japan.
If you would like to use this service, please contact us and we will provide you with a separate quote.

Is smoking allowed?

A

Smoking of all types of tobacco, including cigarettes and e-cigarettes, is strictly prohibited inside the vehicles. Please smoke outside the vehicle if you wish to smoke. If our staff determines that smoking has occurred inside the vehicle, additional cleaning fees will be charged.

Do you have child seats and junior seats?

A

They are rented out for 1,000 yen per chair.
(Baby seats for 2.5kg - 18kg, child seats for 9kg - 25kg, and junior seats) are available.
There are restrictions on installation positions on some vehicles.
By law, children under the age of 6 must wear seat belts, so please let us know the number of people and the ages (weight) of your children when making a reservation.

How long the refrigerator continuously work without external charging?

A

When you depart, the sub-battery for the living area of the vehicle will be fully charged. Depending on your usage, it will last approximately 1-2 days if you are only using the refrigerator. The battery will automatically charge while driving, but the charge status will vary depending on the distance and driving time. Electrical equipment other than the refrigerator will also consume the sub-battery, so please check the remaining battery level frequently while using the vehicle and be careful not to use too much power.

Can I cook in the car?

A

We do not accept cooking in the car, such as grilling, stir-frying, that emit smells. There is a gas stove in the kitchen, but please use for purposes such as boiling the water. For cooking that emit smells and smoke, please take the portable stove installed in the vehicle outside and use it.

Does the vehicle have a toilet, or do I need to rent a portable toilet?

A

It depends on the vehicle, so after selecting the vehicle you want from the "Vehicle & Facility Introduction" page, please check the "Accessories" section. If you wish to use the toilet, there is an optional fee of 2,200 yen (tax included) per day. The usage fee is charged for up to 5 days (total of 11,000 yen (tax included)) and can be used throughout the entire rental period.

When can I use the air conditioner inside the vehicle?

A

The Cabcon series vehicles are equipped with an interior air conditioner. Please use it only in "cooling fan mode." Since the air conditioner consumes a significant amount of power, we recommend using it while connected to an external power source. The operating time may vary depending on temperature and environment, so we recommend using it in places where power is available, such as campgrounds or RV parks.
*Please refrain from using the air conditioner for heating. If heating is needed, please use the FF heater provided in the vehicle.

How long can I use the FF heater?

A

The fuel for the FF heater is automatically supplied from the vehicle's diesel tank, so no additional refueling is required. As a guideline, the maximum consumption is about 2 to 3 liters per day, even during full operation. The heater also uses power from the auxiliary battery, so please check the battery level regularly during use.
*If the auxiliary battery is completely discharged, all electrical devices, including the FF heater and interior lights, will be unusable. Therefore, please connect to an external power source at a campground or RV park, or start the engine to charge the battery.

Does the camper van have water facilities?

A

The Cabcon series vehicles are equipped with a water tank that holds approximately 10 to 20 liters, but it is not suitable for drinking water.
*From November to April, during the winter season, water will not be carried to prevent freezing. During this period, all vehicles will not have access to sinks, showers, or toilets, so please be aware of this.
*Please do not pour leftover food or drinks into the sink, as it can cause plumbing issues and blockages.

Is it possible to drive on snowy roads?

A

With all cars AT full-time 4WD, the tires are changed to studless tires from November to the end of April.

RESPONSE WHEN RENTAL IS IMPOSSIBLE

If the reserved vehicle is unavailable due to an accident or breakdown caused by the previous customer, we will substitute the quoted vehicles with other available vehicles. However, if it is difficult to arrange a substitute vehicle due to the high season etc., We will refund the full amount of the payment you have made in advance and cancel the contract itself. (In this case, we will bear the transfer fee.)

Please note that we may not be able to substitute the quoted model as they are highly specialized vehicles. We kindly ask you to understand this point before reserving the campervan with us. In addition, even if your reserved car becomes unavailable, we regret to inform you that we will not be able to compensate for your round trip travel expenses, transportation fee, and accommodation fee, etc. for you to come to the designated location. Thank you for your understanding in advance.
